To the south of the Alps, in a country named Croatia, there is an oasis of preserved nature which is big for the European relations and to the majority of people still more or less unknown! Its name is the Lika Region!  

Lika Region is a mountainous area and is known for its wooded mountains up to 1700 m high, meadows, caves, endemic plants and rarely seen animals. Here you could find wolves, boars, deer, bears, chamols, bobcats and other game rarely encountered elsewhere. Rivers with numerous brooks and tributaries form magnificient shapes in the beds and canyons of this karst mountainous area.
