3 Day canoe & hiking tour

The Velebit Nature Park is kingdom of geomorpholgic and hidromorphologic karst phenomenons. Una, Lika, Krupa and Zrmanja rivers with wonderful waterfalls, green clear water and magnificent canyons, create one of the most beautiful landscapes in Croatian karst. Rozanski Kukovi, a part of North Velebit National Park are highlight of karst shapes. This area is conglomeration of wild cliffs, towers, domes, obelisks and teethed heads made of white limestone rarely found on one place in such concentracion and grandiosity.

Day 1
Meeting at auto-camp "Korana" in NP "Plitvice lakes", transfer with minibus to the Kruscica Lake. This beautiful lake is 7 km long and it is clear, clean lake surrounded with beautiful beech and spruce forest. Lunch-picnic in one of the numerous small bays. After lunch we will descent to the deep canyon of Lika river whose steep rocky sides rise above 80 meter. This section is great canoeing with mixture of flatwater, quickwater and easy rapids. Accomodation in old traditional country house in the village of Kosinj.
Day 2
After breakfast, our trip takes us to the  North Velebit National Park. The Park covers the surface of 109 km2, and inside there is the Rozanski Ledges Strict Reserve famous for its geomorphological phenomena. The Park is criss-crossed with numerous mountaineering trails. The most famous is the Premuzic`s trail, named after its constructor. The path runs through the most beautiful and the most interesting parts of the park. From the numerous peaks in the surroundings you can have a magnificent view on the Adriatic Sea and its islands, and on the continental side as well. Unforgettable adventure. Day 3
After breakfast we are off to the Krupa river. In its flow Krupa built around 19 falls, most of which belong among the most beautiful falls in Croatia.It is impossible to cross 50 meters along the canyon or the flow of the river, and you come to a view that is more beautiful than the previous one, and you thought that there isn`t a prettier sight. Water is green, perfectly clear and clean. This is magical canoe trip. At the end of the day after this unforgettable canoeing, we`ll return back to the autocamp "Korana".
